Multiplier Adds Up To Favorite In Feature

A 10-race program is on the docket at Churchill Downs on Friday, October 30, as the historic racetrack jump starts a weekend of live Thoroughbred racing action in South Louisville, Ky.
The featured ninth race on the card is an $80,000 optional claiming, “three other than” allowance event for three-year-olds and upward slated for a nine-furlong journey on the main track.
Wachtel Stable, George J. Kerr, and Gary Barber’s Multiplier, who will be making his first start since August 28, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in a field that attracted nine entrants. Tyler Gaffalione has the call on the gray son of The Factor for trainer Peter Miller.
