A customary 10-race Halloween program is on tap at Churchill Downs on Saturday, October 31, as a weekend of live Thoroughbred racing action continues in Derby City.
The featured ninth race on the card is an $150,000 optional claiming, classified allowance affair for three-year-olds and upward slated for an eight and one half-furlong trip on the main track.
Godolphin, LLC’s Endorsed, fourth in the Kelso Stakes (G2) at Belmont Park in his last start on October 3, is the 3-1 morning line choice in a full field of 11. Jockey Corey Lanerie will be astride the bay son of Medaglia d’Oro for Hall of Fame conditioner Bill Mott.
