Off-Turf Mrs. Revere Equals Wide-Open Contest
An 11-race program is on tap at Churchill Downs on Saturday, November 14, as the 2020 fall meet at the historic Louisville, Ky. racetrack rolls onward in Derby City.
The featured tenth race on the program is the $200,000 Mrs. Revere Stakes for three-year-old fillies. Originally scheduled to be run on the the Matt Winn Turf Course, the race has been taken off the grass and will be conested at an eight and one half-furlong trip on the main track.
Paradise Farms Corp. and Parkland Thoroughbreds’ Stunning Sky–winner of the Valley View Stakes (G3T) at Keeneland in her last start–is the 5-2 morning line choice in a compact field of six entrants. Jockey Ricardo Santana, Jr. has the call on the three-year-old daughter of Declaration of War for trainer Mike Maker.
