An 11-race card is on the docket at Gulfstream Park on Sunday, February 21, as the Hallandale Beach racetrack closes out another five-day week of live Thoroughbred racing in South Florida.

The ninth race on the program–the nominal feature–is a $25,000 optional claiming, entry-level allowance contest for fillies and mares four-year-olds and upward sprinting six and one half-furlongs trip on the main track.

My Purple Haze Stables’ Heiressindy, third in her most recent start at Gulfstream Park on January 17, is the 2-1 morning line choice in a compact field of six. Paco Lopez will be astride the four-year-old bay daughter of Take Charge Indy for trainer Terri Pompay.

Quartet Of Winners On Saturday’s Program
