A 12-race program highlighted by the $75,000 Silks Run Stakes is on tap at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach on Saturday, March 13, as a weekend of live Thoroughbred racing action continues in South Florida.

Gary Barber’s Yes I Am Free–winner of the 2019 Texas Glitter Stakes on the turf at Gulfstream–is the 5-2 morning line favorite in the Silks Run Stakes, a five-furlong turf test for four-year-olds and upward. Jockey Emisael Jaramillo has the call on the five-year-old chestnut son of Uncaptured for trainer Mark Casse.

Steam Has Hat Trick On Friday’s Program

Steam gave out three winners on Friday’s 10-race program at Gulfstream Park and, as a result, 72 days into the 2020-21 Championship Meet in South Florida, its top picks are winning at a 30 percent clip and have finished in the money 61 percent of the time.
