Red Knight Faces Seven Foes In Elkhorn

A weekend of Thoroughbred racing in Centreal Kentucky continues on Saturday, April 17, as Keeneland Race Course plays host to a 10-race program.
The featured ninth race on the card is the $200,000 Elkhorn Stakes (G2T) for four-year-olds and upward slated for a 12-furlong journey on the Haggin Turf Course.
Trinity Farm’s Red Knight, a two-length winner of the Sycamore Stakes (G3T) at Keeneland last October, is the 3-1 morning line favorite in a field that attracted eight entrants. Jockey James Graham will be astride the seven-year-old chestnut son of Pure Prize for Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott.
