The final week of the 2021 Spring Meeting continues at Keeneland Race Course on Thursday, April 22 with a nine-race program on the agenda at the historic Lexington, Ky. racetrack.
The featured eighth race on the card is an $87,000 classified allowance affair for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward going eight and one half-furlongs on the Haggin Turf Course.
Highlander Training Center’s Summer in Saratoga, a winner in four of her past five starts, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in a field that attracted eight horses in the race’s body and one of main track only entrant. Veteran reinsman Corey Lanerie will be astride the five-year-old bay daughter of Hard Spun for trainer Joe Sharp.
