Churchill Downs jump starts Kentucky Derby Week 2021 on Tuesday, April 27 with a nine-race program on the docket at the historic Louisville, Ky. racetrack.
The featured eighth race on the card is the $130,000 Isaac Murphy Marathon Overnight Stakes Presented By Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance for four-years-old and upward slated for a 12-furlong journey on the main track.
Flying P Stable’s Lone Rock, a winner of four of his past five starts, is the definitive 8-5 morning line favorite in a field that attracted eight entrants. Jockey Ramon Vazquez has the call on the six-year-old bay son of Majestic Warrior for trainer Robertino Diodoro.
