An 11-race program is on tap at Churchill Downs on Saturday, May 8, as a weekend of live Thoroughbred racing action continues at the venerable Louisville, Ky. racetrack.

The featured tenth race on the card is the $110,000 Mamzelle Stakes for three-year-old fillies sprinting five-furlongs on the Matt Winn Turf Course.

Stonestreet Stables, LLC’s Wink, who is part of a formidable three-pronged entry from trainer Wesley Ward, is the 3-1 morning line choice in a field that attracted 10 entrants. Jockey James Graham will be astride the chestnut daughter of Midshipman.

Four Winners On Friday’s Card–$2.93 ROI

Steam gave out four winners on Friday’s nine-race program at Churchill Downs and, as a result, had a positive 47 percent return on investment (ROI*), or a flat-bet profit of 93 cents for each two dollars wagered on its top selections on the card.
