Allowance Trifecta On Twilight Thursday
“Twilight Thursday”, version 3.0 of the 2021 spring stand, jump starts a four-day week of Thoroughbred racing action at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky. on May 20. Post time for the eight-race card is 5:00 P.M. (Eastern).
The seventh race, the nominal feature and one of three allowance heats on the program, is a $102,000 event for three-year-old fillies that have never won two races sprinting six-furlongs on the main track.
Sierra Farm’s Mischiefful, second in an allowance contest at Keeneland in her last start on April 15, is the prohibitive 8-5 morning line favorite in a field that attracted nine entrants. Veteran reinsman Corey Lanerie has the call on the three-year-old bay daughter of Into Mischief for trainer Ian Wilkes.
Steam Touts Two Winners On Sunday’s Card
