An eight-race program is on the docket on Saturday, July 31 at Ellis Park in Henderson, Ky., as a weekend of Thoroughbred racing continues in the Tri-State area.

The featured sixth race on the card is a $40,000 optional claiming / “money since” allowance event for three-year-olds and upward sprinting six-furlongs on the main track.

Tamaroak Partners, LLC’s Coltonator, third against a tougher field in his most recent start at Churchill Downs on June 25, is the definitive 8-5 morning line choice in a compact field of six. Jockey Brian Hernandez, Jr. has the call on the five-year-old bay son of Congrats for trainer Greg Foley.
