Kentucky Downs’ six-day, boutique FanDuel Meet continues on Monday, September 6 with an 11-race Labor Day program on the agenda at the all-turf gallops in Franklin, Ky.

The card is highlighted by three stakes races — the $500,000 Aristocrat Juvenile Fillies Stakes for two-year-old fillies going eight-furlongs, the $1 million WinStar Mint Million Stakes (G3T) for three-year-olds and upward slated for a flat mile trip on the grass, and the $500,000 Kentucky Downs Juvenile Mile for two-year-olds.

In the Juvenile Fillies Stakes, Dawn and Ike Thrash’s Turnerloose, who broke her maiden on debut at Ellis Park on July 16, is the 5-2 morning line line favorite in a field that attracted 10 entrants. Jockey Florent Geroux has the call on the daughter of Nyquist for trainer Brad Cox.

In the WinStar Mint Million, Juddmonte Farms, Inc.’s Flavius, winner of the restricted Lure Stakes in his most recent start at Saratoga on August 7, is the 9-5 morning line choice in a full field of 11. Hall-of-Famer Javier Castellano will be astride the bay son of War Front or trainer Chad Brown.

In the Juvenile Mile, Skychai Racing, LLC, Paradise Farms Corp., and David Staudacher’s Kiss the Sky, who broke his maiden on August 15 on the inner turf course at Saratoga, is the 3-1 morning line favorite in a full field of 11. Jockey Jose Ortiz, Jr. has the call on the son of Twirling Candy for trainer Mike Maker.

Post time is 12:20 P.M. (Central).

Steam Touts Three Winners On Opneing Day

Additionally on Monday’s card, there is a $3,708 carryover in the 50-cent Super Hi-5 (11th race, 5:58 P.M. (Central) post time).

The elite, all-turf meeting continues on September 8, 9, 11, and 12.
