Split TVG Stakes The Highlight On Wednesday

Kentucky Downs’ six-day, 2021 FanDuel Meet steams ahead on Wednesday, September 8 with a 10-race program on the docket at the all-turf racetrack in Franklin, Ky.

The card is highlighted by split divisions of the $400,000 TVG Stakes, a one-mile and 70-yard contest for three-year-olds and upward that have not won a stakes in 2021.

In the first division, Three Diamonds Farm’s Forty Under, who annexed a second-level allowance race at Saratoga in his last start on August 6, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in a field of nine. Jockey Tyler Gaffalione will be astride the gray son of Uncle Mo for trainer Mike Maker.

In the second division, Bloom Racing Stable, LLC’s Snapper Sinclair, a two-time winner at Kentucky Downs, is the 5-2 morning line choice in a field that attracted 10 entrants. Julien Leparoux has the call on the bay son of City Zip for trainer Steve Asmussen.

Top Selections In Money At 50% Clip At Meet

Steam gave out one winner on Monday’s 11-race Labor Day program at Kentucky Downs and, as a result, two days into the brief FanDuel Meeting, its top picks are winning at a 18 percent clip and have finished in the money 50┬ápercent of the time.

The elite, all-turf meet continues on September 9th, 11th, and 12th.
