Turnerloose Set To Strike In Jessamine

Keeneland Race Course kicks its first five-day week of racing at the 2021 fall meet with an eight-race program on the docket at the historic Central Kentucky racetrack on Wednesday, October 13.
The featured eigth race on the card is the $200,000 JPMorgan Chase Jessamine Stakes (G2T)–a “Win & You’re In” event for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1T) at Del Mar on Friday, November 5–for two-year-old fillies slated for an eight and one half-furlong trip on the Haggin Turf Course.
Dawn and Ike Thrash’s Turnerloose, an open-length winner of the listed Aristocrat Juvenile Fillies Stakes at Kentucky Downs in her most recent start on September 6, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in a full field of 14. Jockey Florent Geroux has the call on the daughter of Nyquist for trainer Brad Cox.
