Abrogate Salty In Return To Allowance Ranks

A nine-race program is on the docket at Churchill Downs on Thursday, November 11–Veteran’s Day at the venerable Louisville, KY racetrack.

The fourth race on the card–the nominal feature–is a $160,000 non-classified allowance contest for three-year-old fillies sprinting five-furlongs on the main track.

JoAnn and Alex Lieblong’s Abrogate, fifth in the Miss Preakness Stakes (G3) in her last start on May 14, is the definitive 6-5 morning line favrorite in a compact field of four. Jockey Ricardo Santana, Jr. will be astride the daughter of Outwork for for Hall-of-Fame trainer Steve Asmussen.
