Leddy Wheeled Back In Friday’s Feature

A nine-race program is on the docket at Churchill Downs on Friday, November 19, as the venerable racetrack kicks-off a weekend of Thoroughbred racing in Louisville, KY.

The featured eighth race on the card is a $50,000 starter allowance contest for two-year-olds slated for a seven-furlong trip on the main track.

William and Corinne Heiligbrodt’s Leddy, who broke his maiden by open lengths under the Twin  Spires on November 4, is the 2-1 morning line favorite in a field that attracted seven entrants. Jockey Corey Lanerie will be astride the son of Arrogate for trainer Steve Asmussen.
