Letruska Gets Back To Work In Royal Delta
A 12-race program is on tap at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, February 26, as a weekend of Thoroughbred racing action continues in South Florida.
The sixth race on the card–the nominal feature–is the $150,000 Royal Delta Stakes (G3) for fillies and mares four-years-old and upward slated for an 8.5-furlong trip on the main track.
St. George Stable, LLC’s Letruska, 2021’s champion older dirt female who will be making her six-year-old debut, is the prohibitive 2-5 morning line favorite in a compact field of six. Jockey Jose Ortiz, Jr. will be astride the bay daughter of Super Saver for trainer Fausto Gutierrez.
