A 10-race program is on tap at Gulfstream Park on Friday, March 4, as the Hallandale Beach racetrack begins a weekend of Thoroughbred racing in South Florida.

The eighth race on the card–the nominal feature–is a $62,500 optional claiming/classified allowance contest for four-year-olds and upward sprinting six-furlongs on the main track.

Bell Racing, LLC’s Quick Tempo, a stakes-winning sprinter, is the 9-5 morning line choice in a compact field of six. Jockey Luis Saez has the call on the four-year-old son of Tapizar for trainer Carlos David.
