Eight races are on the agenda at Gulfstream Park on Wednesday, March 9, as the Hallandale Beach, Fla. racetrack kicks-off a customary five-day week of Thoroughbred racing action in the Sunshine State.
The sixth race on the card–the nominal feature–is a $62,500 optional claiming/classified allowance contest for fillies and mares four-years-old and upward slated for an eight-furlong journey around one-turn on the main track.
Allen Stable, Inc.’s Cafe Society, an open-length winner of her last start at Gulfstream Park on February 12, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in a field that attracted seven entrants.
