Camp Hope Set Up For Win In Feature

An eight-race program is on the agenda at Keeneland Race Course on Wednesday, April 20, as the historic Lexington, KY racetrack jump starts a five-day week of Thoroughbred racing in the Bluegrass State.
The featured seventh race on the card is a $130,000 “three other than” allowance event for four-year-olds and upward slated for an 8.5-furlong trip on the Haggin Turf Course.
Walking L Thoroughbreds, LLC’s, Camp Hope, who won the $150,000 Bryan Station Stakes on turf at Keeneland last fall, is the 3-1 morning line choice in field that attracted 12 horses in the race’s body and a pair of also eligible entrants. Jockey Brian Hernandez, Jr. has the call on the bay son of Summer Front for trainer Kenny McPeek.
Steam Touts Four Winners On Saturday’s Card
Steam gave out four winners on Saturday’s 11-race program at Keeneland and, as a result, seven days into the 2022 Spring Meet in Central Kentucky, its top picks are winning at a 24 percent clip and have finished in the money 65 percent of the time.
