Maven Seeks Form Reversal In Feature
Nine-races are on tap at Keeneland Race Course on Sunday, April 24, as the Lexington, KY racetrack closes out a five-day week of Thoroughbred racing action in the Bluegrass State.
The featured seventh race on the card is a $130,000 classified allowance affair for four-year-olds and upward sprinting 5.5-furlongs on the Haggin Turf Course.
Richard Ravin’s Maven, who is a perfect two-for-two on turf at Keeneland, is the 3-1 morning line choice in field that attracted 12 horses in the race’s body and four also eligible entrants. Jockey John Velazquez will be astride the chestnut son of American Pharoah for trainer Wesley Ward.
Steam Has Hat Trick On Saturday’s Program
