13 races featuring seven stakes is on the agenda at Churchill Downs on Friday, May 6–Kentucky Oaks Day 2022 in Louisville, KY.
The program’s is highlighted by the 148th running of the $1,250,000 Longines Kentucky Oaks (G1) for three-year-old fillies to be contested at a nine-furlong trip on the main track.
Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners, Repole Stable, and Michael House’s Nest, an open-length winner of the Ashland Stakes (G1) at Keeneland in her last start on April 8, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in the two-turn dirt contest which attracted a full field of 14. Jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. will be astride the bay daughter of Curlin for trainer Todd Pletcher.
