An 11-race program is on the agenda at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY on Saturday, May 14–the first “Downs After Dark” program of the 2022 Spring Meeting.

The featured ninth race on the card is the $160,000 Mamzelle Stakes for three-year-old fillies sprinting five-furlongs on the Matt Winn Turf Course.

Stonestreet Stables, LLC’s Twilight Gleaming (Ire), who beat the boys in last year’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2T), is the prohibitive 6-5 morning line choice in a field that attracted 11 entrants. Jockey Tyler Gaffalione has the call on the bay daughter of National Defense (GB) for trainer Wesley Ward.

Four Winners On Friday’s Program–$2.71 ROI
