Thursday Feature Goes Through Masqueparade
A five-day week of Thoroughbred racing continues at Churchill Downs on Thursday, June 23, as the Louisville, KY racetrack hosts its sixth “Twilight Thursday” of the 2022 Spring Meet. The eight-race program has a later-than-normal 5:00 P.M. (Eastern) post time.
The featured seventh race on the card is an $80,000 optional claiming/ third-level allowance event for three-year-olds and upward slated for an 8.5-furlong trip on the main track.
FTGGG Racing’s Masqueparade, a game second in his 2022 debut at Churchill Downs on May 13, is the prohibitive even-money morning line favorite in a field that attracted seven entrants. Jockey Colby Hernandez will be astride the four-year-old bay son of Upstart for trainer Al Stall, Jr.
