10 races are on tap at Churchill Downs on Sunday, October 2–closing day of the 2022 September Meet at the venerable Louisville, KY racetrack.

The featured ninth race on the program is a $127,000 entry-level allowance contest for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward slated for a nine-furlong journey on the main track.

Calumet Farm’s She’s Keen, seventh in the Alabama Stakes (G1) at Saratoga in her most recent start on August 20, is the 5-2 morning line choice in a field that attracted eight entrants. Jockey Brian Hernandez, Jr. will be astride the three-year-old daughter of Keen Ice for trainer Rusty Arnold.

Three Winners On Saturday’s Card–$2.05 ROI

Steam touted three winners and had a return on investment (ROI*) of $2.05 for each $2 wagered on its top picks on Saturday’s 11-race program at Churchill Downs and, as a result, with one day remaining at the 2022 September stand in Derby City, its top selections are winning at a 18 percent clip and have finished in the money 59 percent of the time.

Additionally on Sunday’s program, there is a $33,734 carryover with a mandatory payout in the 20-cent Derby City 6 Jackpot (races 5-10, 2:45 P.M. (Eastern) post time), and a $3,740 carryover, also with a mandatory force out, in the $1 Super Hi-5 (10th race 5:26 P.M. (Eastern) post time).
