Meister Set For Third Straight Win In Feature
Nine races are on tap at Keeneland Race Course on Thursday, October 20, as a five-day week of Thoroughbred racing action continues in the Bluegrass State.
The sixth race on the card–the nominal feature–is a $100,000 optional claiming/third-tier allowance contest for three-year-olds and upward slated for an 8.5-furlong journey on the main track.
CHP Racing’s Meister, an open-length winner of his last start at Churchill Downs on September 16, is the prohibitive 8-5 morning line favorite in a compact field of six. Jockey Julien Leparoux has the call on the four-year-old bay son of Bodemeister for trainer Ian Wilkes.
Steam Touts Two Winners On Wednesday’s Card
