Nine races are on agenda at Gulfstream Park on Sunday, February 19, as the Hallandale Beach, Fla. racetrack closes out a five-day week of Thoroughbred racing in the Sunshine State.
The eighth race on the card–the nominal feature–is a $62,500 optional claiming/classified allowance contest for fillies and mares four-years-old and upward sprinting 6.5-furlongs on the main track.
Joseph Allen, LLC’s Radio Days, who will be making her first start since last summer at Monmouth Park, is the prohibitive 4-5 morning line choice in a compact field of six. Jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. has the call on the four-year-old daughter of Gun Runner for Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey.
